Access panels come in many different shapes and sizes. Here at GC Products, we carry Ledge Access Panels as small as 9″ x 9″, with incrementally larger sizes at 3, 4, and 6″ increments.
Our 24″ x 24″ access panels are currently are largest standard GFRG access panels we have available, although we can – and have – created custom access panels of larger sizes, these 2′ x 2′ panels are certainly are largest of the ones that we have on demand.
These 24″ x 24″ panels can, in theory, be used almost anywhere that are 9″ x 9″, 12″ x 12″, etc. panels may be placed. But at this size, these panels are especially useful for when you need someone to be able to crawl into a space without too much discomfort. This makes them useful for:
- Attic Access
- Basement Access or Crawl Space Access (if not outdoors)
- Commercial Plumbing or Electrical Access
These types of panels are not typically needed for less complex electrical or plumbing work, but the added space could be beneficial when there is a more complicated system that requires more space to work.
