Ledge Access Panel Product Data and Specifications
Ledge Access Panels are the newest product added to our Ledge Products line of specialized GFRG and GFRC products. Our GFRG access panels are designed to blend into your ceiling, capable of providing access to any area while nearly invisible to the eye.

Standard Sizes for Our GFRG Access Panels
Ledge GFRG Access Panels are generally specified by their opening sizes. Typically, an additional 6” needs to be added for the rough opening size (see installation detail for clarification).
All standard access panel sizes are available with drop-in or hinged type doors. Panels are gypsum based for interior applications (cement-based panels are available for exterior use and may be special ordered). Custom sizes are available upon request. Fastener and Attachment Options for Access Panels
Our access panels are installed using #6 bugle head screws. The joint at the perimeter of the rough opening is best concealed via tape joint. Once it is installed, you can fill, sand, and finish as required and the panel will blend in with the rest of the property.
Finishing Options
At present, all finishing should be completed by the installer. The panels come in an off white color (the color of natural gypsum) that is easy to paint.
Framing of GFRG Access Panels
Access panel framing is determined by the job-site conditions. The panel itself does not require regular framing, but can be connected to adjacent drywall using blocks or studs.
