Are There Any Requirements for Disposal of GFRC?
GFRC is a fantastic material, and one that we’re proud to offer here at GC Products Inc. But there may be a time when your need for GFRC is over, and you’ll need to dispose of the remainder. Are there any requirements for disposal of GFRC that need to be taken into consideration?
GFRC – Safe and Recyclable
GFRC is safe for any type of traditional disposal. It can be broken down and placed in cans or hauled directly to the dump. There are no known hazards to disposal of this material, nor any planning or considerations that need to be made beyond the way one would dispose of other safe materials.
In addition, GFRC does not have to be disposed of at all. GFRC, in select cases, can be repurposed. At GC Products, we may be able to direct you to an appropriate place to repurpose your GFRC in your area, although most designers simply choose to trash the product after tear down.
